Kiss My Face Cold & Flu Soothing Bath & Shower Gel Review

I received a bottle of Kiss My Face Cold & Flu to facilitate my review.

Feeling Better with Kiss My Face Cold & Flu Soothing Bath & Shower Gel

As the mother of three and the wife of one, I always have responsibilities. I can’t take a day off just because I feel under the weather. When I get sick the meals still need to be made, the baby still needs his diaper changed and there is no one else to do it besides me. When I was little and I was sick my mom would always give me a nice warm bath. It would make my muscles feel better, open my sinuses and rejuvenate me a little bit. And that is the theory behind Kiss My Face Cold & Flu Soothing Bath & Shower Gel.

Kiss My Face Cold & Flu Soothing Bath & Shower Gel contains eucalyptus that is cooling to the skin and opens the sinuses. Olive oil, aloe vera and allantoin help comfort the skin and leave you feeling soft. Horehound offers aromatic properties that are soothing also.

We Use it all the Time

My bottle of Kiss My Face Cold & Flu Soothing Bath & Shower Gel couldn’t have come at a better time. I was suffering from a bit of a virus and needed something that would make me feel better by providing me with a little comfort and soothing aromatherapy. I jumped (ok I didn’t jump since I was sick) in the shower and used the gel almost immediately. It has a wonderful scent that lifted my spirits and helped me make it through the day.

We use Kiss My Face shower gel in our home all the time. the Cold & Flu version is a great addition to our home and I will make sure I keep it is stock during Flu Season!

Wordless Wednesday Poinsettia

Wordless Wednesday

This Wordless Wednesday Maryland voted to allow gay marriage, and so two of my good friends tied the knot the other day. They had the wedding in a lovely old mansion and they decorated the outside with poinsettia. When the reception was winding down they told us to take one of the poinsettia on the way home. So here is a photo of the lovely plant I brought home that January night.

Paleo Braised Brussel Sprouts Recipe

Paleo

Since I started Weight Watchers a few weeks ago I have lost 6 lbs. One of the things that I think is very different this time around (yep, I’ve tried WW before) is that I am only eating REAL food like this Braised Brussel Sprouts Recipe. None of the packaged stuff for me. I have noticed that I don’t have the nagging hunger like I had with diets where I used pre-packaged foods. I think it is because I can control my blood sugar by eating a lot more lean protein.  My husband and I have been moving toward a more Paleo type diet for years. Since we started Matthew down the path of biomedical healing, and we have seen the success that comes with proper diet, we have been slowly making our way to this sort of lifestyle.

The New Motivation

Just last week I went to visit an endocrinologist. I thought I had an under active thyroid and I wanted him to confirm it. But that isn’t quite how it played out. He thinks I may be a diabetic. I have had gestational diabetes with all three pregnancies and type 2 diabetes runs in my family, so I’m not overly surprised. But I have NOT happy about this.  So that is a huge motivation to lose this weight and eat right.
