Seventh Generation Review and Giveaway
May 18, 2010
I’m guessing many of you have heard of Seventh Generation. They are a very well known “green” product line. But I wonder how many of you have tried any of their products?
I know I knew who they were. I had seen their products in my local organic market and even in my local Target and grocery store. But I had never bought any of their stuff.
Shame on me, because their stuff is awesome.
I contacted Seventh Generation to see if they were interested in doing a review and giveaway with me, and when they replied they were, they offered me the chance to test their Free & Clear Starter Kit which includes:
Disinfecting Multi-Surface – Not Free & Clear
Disinfecting Bathroom – Not Free & Clear
Disinfecting Wipes – 35 ct – Not Free & Clear
Laundry Detergent – Free & Clear 32 oz
Liquid Fabric Softener – Free & Clear 40 oz
Dish Liquid – Free & Clear
All – Purpose Cleaner
Auto -Dish Pacs
Glass Cleaner
Natural Paper Towels
Seventh Generation Recycled Bag
Let me tell you that I am so glad I have tried their products, and they have really made a convert out of me. The Free & Clear products are wonderful. I used the All-Purpose Cleaner on our kitchen table and I even stuck my nose right in it (well not really in it, but right up close to it) and it smelled like plain water to me. But it really worked. It cleaned my little-boys-make-big-messes kitchen table without any problem and it didn’t leave the kitchen smelling like a pool of chemicals. Next I tried the Glass Cleaner and it too did a lovely job, AND it left no smell. My husband immediately commented on how it would be perfect to use when cleaning our car windows because he hates the residual odors/ammonia smell most cleaners leave in small spaces like the car interior.
I also fell in love with the Auto-Dish Pacs. They are small packets you use in your dishwasher. They are perfectly measured, which I really like because I’m usually the one starting the dishwasher and I hate to have to shake out the detergent in that little cup. I always over fill it and then have a hard time closing the lid. What a waste of detergent. With the Seventh Generation Auto-Dish Pacs I can simply drop a packet in the cup and close the lid. Also, there is NO odor. Recently we purchased some well known dish detergent because we couldn’t find the biodegradable one we were using, and when I opened the dishwasher the next morning everything smelled like chemicals. But with Seventh Generation there was no odor, only clean dishes. Ahh. (that is me smelling fresh air, not yucky, over-scented detergents.)
I could go on and on about how fab the products are, but why don’t you enter here to win your own Free & Clear Starter Kit?

Emmy’s Organics Review and Giveaway
May 15, 2010
The other day I ran into one of my friends at out local organic market. As we talked and walked the store she stopped to pick up a few bags of Emmy’s Organic Macaroons and asked me if I’d tried them yet. I had not, but she told me they were really tasty, and a good snack. They come three raw cookies to a compostable package! (Don’t you just love that?) They are reasonably priced so she thought they were perfect to keep in her bag in case she got hungry.
I bought the Dark Cocoa and the Lemon & Ginger flavors. Can you say “Yummy”? They are extremely moist with really nice, intense flavor. My boys like the Dark Cocoa (so do I), but I think the Lemon & Ginger just might be a summertime favorite. It is very light and refreshing due to the zesty lemon flavor and the ginger gives it a nice zip.
I was so impressed with Emmy’s Organics that I contacted them about doing a review and giveaway. Since I had already tasted their macaroons I didn’t have them send me a sample, but they are going to give one Matthew’s Puzzle reader a bag of Dark Cocoa Macaroons and one bag of Lemon & Ginger Macaroons.
To enter head over to Emmy’s Organics and look at all their delicious products. Then come back here and leave me a message telling me what other Emmy’s Organics products you would like to try.

Yoplait Greek Yogurt Review and Giveaway
March 29, 2010
I am a member of MyBlogSpark and they, along with Giant supermarkets and Yoplait, were kind enough to send me a free sample of Yoplait Greek Yogurt to review. They also provided me with a $20 gift card to Giant supermarket – to buy more Yoplait Greek Yogurt I’m sure!
I am a fan of Greek style yogurts. I really enjoy the thicker texture and creamy consistency. Yoplait Greek Style Yogurt comes in several flavors, I got the chance to try both the Strawberry and the Honey Vanilla. Blueberry and Plain flavors are also available. The yogurt contains 0 grams of fat and 130 calories! Not bad in my opinion. And one thing I really like was that it did not contain artificial sweeteners! I enjoyed mine with a helping of granola and a drizzle of maple syrup. It was the perfect size to start my morning.
Yoplait, Giant and MyBlogSpark are giving away one Yoplait Greek Yogurt combo pack which includes 4 coupons for free Yoplait Greek Yogurt and one $20 Giant Gift Card to one Matthew’s Puzzle reader.
To enter simply leave me a comment telling me which flavor you would choose.
