Wordless Wednesday – My Cup of Joe

Autism recovery blog morning cup of cofee

Coffee beans wordless Wednesday autism recovery blog

I love a good cup of coffee. I used to drink it black, no sugar, but after my last pregnancy I can’t take it straight up. I still don’t like sugar, but it needs cream. Real cream, raw is preferred but illegal in MD! What a crock.

Holy Holey Shirt, Batman

Ok, Batman has nothing to do with my holey shirts but I love to say those silly phrases. Like holy sour fish Batman. I always thought Robin was funny. What isn’t funny are all these holes in my shirts! Ever since we moved into our new home I started getting holes in the front of my shirts. I’m convinced it is from our granite countertops. They are Uba Tuba and I think the edge chips pretty easily. Those chips snag my shirts and put holes in them. I’ve gone through so many shirts it would make your head spin like Robin’s boomerang.

I called the people that installed our granite countertops and of course the first words out of his mouth have to do with the fact that our warranty has expired. I wasn’t looking for him to fix it, I knew about the warranty, but I was hoping he would tell me how to repair the damage. He suggested using Super Glue to fill in the chips. Not so sure it worked very well. I’m still getting holes. I’ve taken to wearing an apron whenever I enter the kitchen, whether I’m cooking or not.

I recently bought a few shirts to replace the ones with the holes. First day I had one of them on, BAM (Batman like), a new hole appears! I’m starting to go a little nuts. I can’t live like this forever. I either need to find the source of these holes and fix it, or start wearing midriff shirts all year long. Let’s just say that last option will do no one any good!

Wonder if Alfred would have any good ideas?
