Sugar Skull

I love Halloween and here is my quick tutorial simaking a Sugar Skull with what you probably already have in my makeup bag.

1. Prime face with pale foundation mixed with pale concealer and cover face.

2. Add some light pink to lips and cheeks.

3. Draw design with black eyeliner pencil.

4. Using lipstick fill in the design, but not the eye sockets or nose.

5. Using charcoal eye shadow darken eye sockets and nose.

6. Line eyes with eyeliner, and use mascara to lengthen eyelashes (or apply fake eyelashes for an even more dramatic look)

7. Finish the look off by pinning a flower in your hair, the larger the better.

    • Rachel – so easy! this is so simple and really cute. Plus I dont think you will see a ton of people with it.

  3. So fun and Maryann you hair looks great. Don’t dye it!

    • Thank Kelly. I was just going through a growing it out crisis. I am still on my natural bandwagon and plan to stick with it. If I thought I would look good with a pixie I would just cut it all off so I would be done with it! Then it could just grow in natural.

  4. That is cute! I never knew was a sugar skull was! You look adorable!!

    • Thank you Michelle. I love them. I know there are more professional looking sugar skulls out there, but I didn’t want to have to go get special makeup or anything and I wanted something pretty but accessible to everyone. I think most people could do this.

  5. So cool, dramatic, and elaborate! I love how you did that!
