I’m totally excited to be heading to my second #Brandcation (Brandcation) in the Tennessee mountains. One of the cool things they are planning for us is a great 80’s party. Much to my parents horror I was a total punker in the 80’s, with my jet black hair, pale skin, combat boots, and my ankh necklace. I wore so much black that one day, when my dad came to visit me at college he had to ask me “When did you change your major to mortuary science?” Needless to say they didn’t like the look. But I’m totally hoping to recreate my HS and early college attire for this occasion. Here is what I was thinking.
This is mostly what I wore every single day my freshman year in college. Some people totally loved it, while most did not. Anyway, I still have boots similar to this and I think I can recreate it pretty well. Can’t wait to hang out with my follow bloggers, listen to some great 80’s tunes – yes there were great 80’s tunes, and enjoy the amazing Tennessee Mountains!
Oh yes – the 80s tunes…. I am already workin on the playlist! Woohooo!

Modern English, The Psychedelic Furs, The Cure, so many good alternative bands. And I KNOW you loved some Metal – Motley Crue, Def Leppard, oh I remember them fondly.
Now you are even more my kind of girl. 😉
Were you a total punk too?
Oh Maryann! I went through a huge goth phase in college. I remember the first time I put on regular tennis shoes I felt like a weirdo. Ha! I wish I had kept my docs.

yeah, my folks hated the look, but I was in love with being a freak.
