Honey Balsamic Glaze

Here is a nice, easy recipe for a glaze/barbecue sauce which is excellent on chicken, fish and pork, and best of all it is GFCF.

Honey Balsamic Glaze
1/2 Cup Honey
1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
1 Cup of Ketchup
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary (I did substitute dried)
1 tsp finely grated lemon zest (I didn’t have it so I omitted it and it was still wonderful)
1 tsp pepper

Place vinegar and honey in saucepan and set over med-high heat, bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes.

Stir in ketchup, garlic, oil and rosemary; reduce heat to med-low and simmer for 2 minutes.

Stir in lemon zest and pepper.

Cool completely. Glaze will keep in fridge, covered for up to 1 week.

Makes 1.5 cups.
